Playing piano has never been easier. Internet has made everything a lot more accessible and we’re very happy about it because you can easily find the piano tutorial of any song on it. Today we will learn how to learn a song with a piano tutorial. And it will only take you 3 steps!

You will need:

  • a piano or a keyboard
  • a phone, tablet or laptop

Let’s do this!

FIRST STEP:

Choose a song you know and most of all a song that you love!! It is very important that you pick a song that makes you happy and motivates you, that will make the learning process a lot easier.

We have a very impressive long list of songs of different genres, come take a look, we are sure you will find one that suits you ?

Found it? Good, let’s move on to the next step!

SECOND STEP:

Listen carefully to the piano tutorial and try to analyze the different parts of the song so everything is very well structured inside your head.

Once that’s clear let’s start by playing the right hand, which will appear in orange. Play the same notes you see on the video until you memorize the melody.

Now go practice the left hand that will appear in blue. And again, copy what you see on the piano tutorial.

Do you want a little hint? Play only your left hand and try singing the melody at the same time. Cool, huh?

When you master both hands separate it’s time to move to the third and last step. Remember that if you are starting learning you can find some tips to improve your piano skills here!

THIRD STEP:

You are just about to finish, hang on with us for a little bit more.

Okay, now it’s time to hear how all that practice turned out.

But don’t hurry, you are almost there!

Start slowly, you can’t rush perfection ?

Finally, when you can assemble both hands at the same time, it will only be a matter of time that you can do it better and faster until you can play the song at the right tempo.

Seems like you are done! Enjoy the music, share it with your friends and family or play it alone when you feel like it.

You can now go for your next piano tutorial!
