The rates that we charge for our audio sheet music transcriptions depend on the overall complexity of the requested song.
Make sure you contact us to request a price quote on any piece.
Here's the two simple steps that we follow to calculate the rates:
Step 1: The price chart
We use a chart of standard fixed rates to come up with a price quote for every transcription. The song's rhythmic and harmonic difficulty along with its tempo help us to decide in which category the transcription should be placed. The complexity category determines the price per minute of the transcription. We also separate between polyphonic and monophonic instruments.
See an example of every complexity category and see some sample transcriptions.
*Jazz music, virtuoso crazy arpeggios or very particular arrangements might stand out among the price chart rates. They can either be cheaper or more expensive. Contact us and request a quote that is optimally adjusted to your song.
Step 2: adjust to the situation
Every song and every customer is different. We'll adjust the price according to your needs and we'll talk to you to make sure that we are on the same page in the sense that we are being reasonable with our prices.
