Synthesia tutorials are very useful to learn a song without being able to read sheet music.
We will transcribe and arrange any song into sheet music, then generate a midi file which can be played on Synthesia as a piano tutorial.
We basically turn any song into an easy-to-follow, true-to-recording piano tutorial.

We manually transcribe each note one by one, by ear and we will create the piano tutorial that best suits your needs.

You will be able to import the midi file that we will create for you into Synthesia and slow down to your desired speed in order to learn the song at your own path.

Let’s learn some new songs – try our piano tutorial service now!

Frequently asked questions
FAQ - Synthesia transcriptions related questions

Creating a Synthesia tutorial has a closed price of $25 USD per video.

Synthesia is an app that produces piano tutorials you will be able to play without knowing how to read sheet music. It is a video in which you will see a keyboard below and a moving picture showing where each note has to be played. You can also hear the music at the same time you see it being played on the screen.

You can see some examples here

The Synthesia tutorial can only be created once we have transcribed the music. We write the music we transcribe into notation software (Finale or Sibelius) and once this is done, we export a midi file. With that midi file, we create the Synthesia piano tutorial.

I am afraid this is not possible because the only way we can create a Synthesia tutorial is after transcribing the music into notation software. Once the music is transcribed we can export the midi file and then create the tutorial.

No, only you will have access to the video so you can practice anytime you want. We will make the video private but you will be able to access it with your email address and/or Youtube account.

Yes, with Synthesia you can only create a piano tutorial, not for any other instrument,

Yes, definitely! We are a big group of musicians and 8 out of 19 of us only work on piano transcriptions.

Technical questions

.pdf files should open on your computer as a clean, professional-looking sheet music file which you should be able to print from home.

.mid files are audio files that are generated automatically by a computer and are used as a sheer audio reference of the sheet music arrangement.
Please do not expect to reflect the beauty and essence of the arrangement since it is not played by a human performer.

.sib Sibelius files can be opened only with Sibelius music notation software.
.musx Finale files can be opened only with Finale music notation software.

MusicXML is an XML-based file format for representing Western musical notation and it can be opened by any music notation software out there such as Sibelius, Finale, or Musescore. More info can be found here: http://www.musicxml.com/

This will be a work-for-hire situation. If we transcribe your original compositions and songs, we will hold no rights on the transcriptions and the sheets provided will belong to you and you will have the full rights on them.

About us

We are a team of 15 musicians, professional music transcribers, arrangers and music composers, and we have one thing in common: we are passionate about music. We are based in Barcelona, New York, Sydney and London and we work for customers from all over the world: mainly US, Canada, Australia, and Europe. Our purpose is to help many musicians around the world who don’t have the skills – or the time – to create their customized transcriptions and arrangements.

Since 2011 many wonderful musicians have joined our team as employees and we are part of something special, meaningful and useful. We believe a friendly customer service and a talented group of music transcribers is the best way to tackle an every-day-problem in the music industry.

We are based in Barcelona, New York, Sydney and London and we work for customers from all over the world: mainly US, Canada, Australia, and Europe.

We transcribe and arrange the music by ear and manually typing in our music notation software every single note. This involves a lot of time from our music transcribing team. We do not use music transcription software because it delivers poor results and at My Sheet Music Transcriptions we strive to provide a world-class transcription service.

We work with a lot of different people: composers/songwriters that want their music transcribed, music lovers that want to play their favorite songs and cannot find the sheet music online, singers that need a particular piece for an audition, orchestra conductors, music schools,…

The only thing we all have in common is that music is our passion 🙂
