A day with My Sheet Music Transcriptions vol. 3: Albert, Assistant Manager

Oh, hi! Howdy? Today we’ll discover more about Albert, Assistant Manager at My Sheet Music Transcriptions. He joined the family one year ago as part of the customer service team, and we couldn’t be happier about it.

Cycling, multilingualism, and croissants

Albert is a very active person who cannot live without his dear bike. And boy, he really takes cycling seriously. Even if it snows, he will come riding his bike to the office. This is what I would call commitment!

Once transportation is completed, Albert arrives and sets his desk up for work. Now you could say, ok, boring, everyone else arranges his desk at the office. But there’s a difference with Albert: he actually brings his own devices to the office as he’s too picky to use a regular keyboard and mouse. You all can appreciate he is a man of refined taste and judgment when it comes to his workspace! Here at MSMT, everyone has his preferences, and we believe no one should interfere with that if it makes workers comfier.

As an Assistant Manager, one needs to clearly communicate with customers, making them feel comfortable and reassured about their request. This is not a problem for Albert, as he’s able to assist them in English, Spanish, and even oh là là… French! It is fair to say that Albert is the closest thing to a French native speaker we have at My Sheet Music Transcriptions. That’s why he’s in charge of managing all our French clients like he’s one of them. But let me tell you a little secret! He is not really a big fan of croissants, although he hides it to preserve his reputation.

From start to end

What he enjoys the most about his position -apart from using his plurilingual skills- is following the process of creating and delivering transcriptions. As an Assistant Manager, Albert is present when a customer first asks for information, and he is still there when the transcription is ready to hand over. For him, being part of an assignment from start to end is what makes his job fulfilling. He likes to know he contributes to getting the best results for everyone, every time.

#FunFact: He’s the tallest at the office, and he’s always hungry. If it’s 1 pm and he hasn’t had lunch yet, he can get really hangry -so you better watch out!

And, that’s all for today, amigos. Thank you for reading! Will see you soon with another one of these posts.
