A day with My Sheet Music Transcriptions vol. 4: Júlia, Assistant Manager

Today we bring you the fourth part of our “Behind the Scenes” series. It is Júlia’s turn, Assistant Manager.

Hello hello! What’s up, everybody? Today we’ll take a sneak peek into Júlia’s life at the office. This blogpost feels special as Júlia has been with us from the very beginning.

So, what does she do?

Júlia can be defined as an Assistant Manager, but let me tell you: she’s not just your regular Customer Service specialist. She’s the member of the team who’s been around the longest! Júlia still remembers when there were only 4 people in our internal Whatsapp group chat – now we are over 25 members.

For this reason, Júlia is usually in charge of double-checking that everything runs properly. Being relatively new to the team myself, it is very reassuring to have someone on board who has collected all of this knowledge throughout the years. They say confidence comes with experience, and we couldn’t agree more!

Communication, languages, and copywriting

When it all started – already 5 years ago – the team was small and we didn’t divide work tasks as much. Today, Júlia is still part of the Social Media Team – and she is in fact the Queen Copywriter! She also used to write blog posts, which you can read here. As you can see, Júlia enjoys every task that has to do with writing, language, and communication in general. It’s no surprise she studied a degree in Translation and Interpretation and is currently studying French. Here at My Sheet Music Transcriptions, we are proud lifelong learners.

Tea and musicals

If you ask Júlia what she would bring to a secluded desert island, her answer will most definitely be: 1) tons of good quality tea and 2) her favorite musicals to watch on repeat.

Trust me, here at the office we are always provided with a great variety of tea. Júlia and Anandi (another tea-lover-and-assistant-manager) make sure we never run out of it. Even if you prefer coffee, you’ll probably fancy a cup when you see and smell those amazing tea boxes!

Also, musicals are Júlia’s weakness. She usually prefers to go and see them live, although she also likes to play them on the piano herself. Storytime: Oriol (founder) and Júlia met a long time ago when they studied piano together. She was already mad about musicals back then: this is what I call a true passion.

#FunFact: Júlia has watched the same musical more than 20 times. And yes, she enjoys it every time as if it was her first.

So that’s pretty much all for today

Stay tuned if you want to know more about the rest of our team. Also, if you have any questions for Júlia, leave them in the comments section and she’ll answer them herself!
