Despacito

It was about time that we talked about Despacito.

Please raise your hand if you have not listened to this song. We all love it! But, just in case here is the link to the original song.

Nobody can resist from the sound of the chords of the Spanish guitar, right? Whenever I hear the song I picture myself on a beach somewhere in the Caribbean, hearing the breeze of the palm trees moving as the wind blows… Too bad it is still February and holidays are a little far from now, right?

We have a remedy for that! Whenever you wish to be on a beach listening to Despacito, there is something you can do: play it!

There are hundreds of versions of Despacito, but we have chosen this one for you today:

We know it is not easy nor short, but hey, it is still February. You still have a long way to go until you can play it while your friends sing to it with a cold beer in their hands.

What is it about pop music that we love so much? It is very easy to listen, very sticky and, most important of all, it is the best feel-good kind of music you could listen to. There are infinite pop songs but there is something about Despacito that had the whole planet sing it like mad for months last year.

We believe that popular culture is great and we do not need to be ashamed of it. Of course, there are neverending music possibilities and I personally enjoy musical genres that go from Despacito to Pink Floyd and the last Mozart symphonies. And there is absolutely nothing wrong about that!

So, let’s embrace music and all the possibilities it has to offer!
