What is a MusicXML file?
A MusicXML (.xml) is always delivered at no extra charge. This file format has become the most successful standard for music notation interchange since Midi. It’s the universal standard sheet music format. Finale, Sibelius, Cubase, Logic Pro, and more than 200 different software read it. Find more info here.
How do you transcribe music? Do you use a transcription software?
No. We manually transcribe every single note by ear. This is a music transcription service provided by musicians, not computers. Actually, there’s no possible way to accurately transcribe a piece of music using software other than a really simple melody like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. We use notation software such as Finaleand Sibeliusto write down the music and create professional looking scores, and we use midi keyboards to speed up the process. We love doing it, and practice makes perfect.
Furthermore, pretty much all of the arrangement requests that we receive require a proficient performer’s interaction and arrangement skills. There’s no transcribing software that can offer what a human arranger can do.
Wait, who are you?
We are a team of professional transcribers from Barcelona, Spain. Two of us coordinate the whole thing and we always have 4-6 transcribers available ready to take your requests. We can transcribe all genres and instruments because every transcriber in our team is an expert on a determined music field. We have a jazz expert, bass expert, piano expert, strings expert, and so on.
Who do you usually work for?
Our services are particularly popular in the US, but we work for musicians from all over the world: enthusiastic amateurs, professional concert performers, conductors, music students and teachers.
We work together with many Youtube popular pianists such as Lucas King, and we have also recently partnered with musicnotes.com. Read more about us here.
