Yes, some of the transcribers on our team are proficient jazz players who work exclusively on jazz transcriptions.
Don’t worry! We can simplify the music for you and accommodate the transcription to your playing level!
Our prices depend on the length and complexity of the music. When evaluating the price of a jazz solo, we listen out for the speed, density of notes, rhythmic and harmonic complexity, and repeats. Send us a link or audio file of the solo you want us to transcribe and we’ll send you an accurate price quote.
You can find some more pricing information here.
Of course! We can create jazz rhythm charts for the rhythmic section of your group (piano, guitar, bass, drums) and transcribe the head and solos for your lead instruments (saxophone, trumpet,…).
Rhythm charts are a type of musical notation that conveys the essential content of a song in a concise sheet music score. They have a very practical, abbreviated layout that includes only the main musical signposts, and a single Rhythm chart can often be followed by multiple different instruments. You can find all the information on our rhythm charts here.
Full (note-for-note) sheet music includes all the details. It is a record of everything a specific instrument or group of instruments plays. Every single note is written out exactly as it sounds in the recording you provide.
Definitely, we will take your preferences into account and we will provide you a nice combined arrangement for you to play.
Yes! This is perfectly doable. We can adapt it for any instrument you need.
Indeed! Let us know if you need them so we can provide you with the best price quote.
Yes! We can also provide you with several different versions of the score if you need: one fully in playing pitch, one fully in concert pitch, and one in playing pitch with the chord symbols in concert pitch.
Yes! Our expert jazz trumpet players will make sure to provide an accurate transcription so your solo sounds like the original!
Sure thing! We can transpose it to a key that’s easier to read. Let us know the maximum number of accidentals that you feel comfortable with and we’ll find the key that sounds the best.
If we have transcribed the piece for you, we’ll change the key at no extra cost.
If you already have the sheet music and would just need a transposition, we have a specialized transposing service for just that!
We can transcribe all songs and music genres! Send us your songs and we’ll transcribe them – whether it’s piano covers, guitar TABs, jazz solos, vocals, orchestral themes, or original compositions. We’ve got you covered!

If we transcribe your original music, we will not withhold any rights on the transcriptions. The scores provided will belong to you – you can distribute, share, and sell them as you wish.
We transcribe and arrange music by ear, manually typing it into our music notation software note-by-note. This is a detailed and thorough process. We do not use any AI/automatic music transcription software because it delivers poor results and at My Sheet Music Transcriptions, we strive to provide a world-class transcription service.
All of our transcribers are professional musicians who take pride in their craft.
We are a team of 40+ professional musicians, transcribers, arrangers, and composers. Our headquarters are in Barcelona, where we started our journey, but we now work with musicians from all around the world – mainly across the US, Canada, Australia, and Europe – with a strong presence in New York and London! Our mission is to spread music globally through customized transcriptions and arrangements.
We have been growing since 2011, and have completed more than 32,000 transcriptions so far. We believe a friendly customer service and a talented group of music transcribers is the best way to provide you with the sheet music you have always wanted.
We have an extensive and diverse clientele: from original composers and songwriters who want their music transcribed to music lovers who want to play their favorite songs but cannot find the sheet music online, and gigging musicians who don’t have the time to create their sheet music themselves.
Our work ranges from big projects with orchestras, bands, musicals, and schools to individual projects, with both professional and amateur musicians.
What we all have in common is that music is our passion 🙂
